American Airlines
American Airlines are the
world’s largest carrier, operating over 40 transatlantic flights per day
between the United States and Europe. They are a member of the oneworld
airline alliance.
American Airlines flies daily
direct from Dublin to Chicago O’Hare airport, offering a gateway to the
American heartland. These flights are made on Boeing 767-300
aircraft. The airline also offers flights via the United Kingdom to
other destinations in its vast network. Until September 2007, American
Airlines also offered a flight from Shannon to Chicago, but this has now
been discontinued.
American Airlines has recently
introduced lie flat beds into its business class cabins, to improve the
level of comfort for passengers travelling in that class.
American Airlines operates a frequent
flyer programme called AAdvantage to reward its loyal customers.
