Aer Lingus
Aer Lingus is the national carrier of Ireland, based in Dublin. Aer
Lingus now markets itself as a low cost carrier, in response to
aggressive competition from other low cost carriers, most notably
Ryanair. Aer Lingus’ hubs are Dublin airport, Shannon airport and
Belfast airport. Aer Lingus is in codeshare agreements with American
Airlines, British Airways and KLM.
On short haul routes Aer Lingus offers a single cabin class (Economy)
and on long haul routes operates two cabin classes (Premier Class and
Economy). Aer Lingus operates 84 routes in Europe and flies to San
Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington, Orlando, Boston and New
York in the United States. Aer Lingus also operates a service to Dubai.
Aer Lingus runs a frequent flier program called Golden Circle Club.
